Cost Engineer | Infrastructure Programme

Are you an experienced Cost Engineer looking for your next contract opportunity within major infrastructure delivery?
We’re supporting an infrastructure programme and are looking for a Cost Engineer to strengthen cost control processes, improve forecasting and provide robust cost assurance across the programme.

What you’ll be doing:
✔️ Reviewing and updating cost control processes, including baselines, change management, monitoring and project closure
✔️ Supporting the rollout and implementation of standardised cost workbook templates
✔️ Developing and delivering improvements to EAC and forecasting processes
✔️ Producing monthly cost reports, including clear variance analysis and performance insight
✔️ Carrying out cost assurance reviews to ensure robust and consistent controls
✔️ Working with project teams to improve the quality and accuracy of cost information

What we’re looking for:
🔹 Strong background in cost engineering, cost control or project controls
🔹 Experience managing baselines, forecasting and change control
🔹 Good understanding of EAC and cost performance reporting
🔹 Experience producing monthly cost and variance reports
🔹 Ability to review existing cost processes and identify opportunities for improvement
🔹 Infrastructure or major project experience would be beneficial
