Cost Engineer | London | Infrastructure
Are you an experienced Cost Engineer looking to take the next step on a major infrastructure programme?
We’re supporting the delivery of complex, large-scale infrastructure projects and are looking for an experienced Cost Engineer to join the team in London.
This is an opportunity to play a key role within project controls, providing accurate cost management, forecasting and performance insight to support successful project delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
✔️ Managing and monitoring project costs, budgets, commitments and expenditure
✔️ Tracking cost performance against approved baselines
✔️ Producing accurate forecasts, reports and performance analysis
✔️ Supporting change control and assessing the cost impact of proposed changes
✔️ Working closely with planning and wider project controls teams
✔️ Providing clear cost information and recommendations to project stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
🔹 Previous experience in a Cost Engineer or cost control position
🔹 Strong background within major infrastructure or capital projects
🔹 Good understanding of cost management, forecasting and change control
🔹 Strong Excel and data analysis skills
🔹 Familiarity with ERP or finance systems would be beneficial
🔹 Confident communicator with a proactive and analytical mindset
