Lead Mechanical Engineer | Italy
Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer ready to take the lead on complex engineering projects in Italy?
We’re looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to provide technical leadership across mechanical engineering activities, supporting projects from design and development through to successful delivery.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of mechanical engineering requirements, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure high-quality technical solutions are delivered throughout the project lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing:
✔️ Leading mechanical engineering activities across complex projects
✔️ Reviewing designs, specifications and technical documentation
✔️ Providing technical guidance and resolving engineering challenges
✔️ Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
✔️ Supporting installation, testing and commissioning activities
✔️ Ensuring mechanical works meet project requirements and applicable standards
What we’re looking for:
🔹 Strong experience in mechanical engineering within complex project environments
🔹 Previous experience in a Lead or Senior Mechanical Engineer position
🔹 Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and engineering principles
🔹 Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
🔹 Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
🔹 Confident communicator with a proactive and collaborative approach
