Project Controls Manager | Birmingham
Are you an experienced Project Controls Manager looking to take a leadership role on complex, large-scale projects in Birmingham?
We’re supporting the delivery of major capital projects and are looking for an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead and oversee the project controls function.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in successful project delivery, providing effective oversight across planning, cost, risk, change and performance management.
What you’ll be doing:
✔️ Leading project controls across complex, large-scale projects
✔️ Overseeing planning, cost control, risk management and change control
✔️ Managing performance reporting, forecasting and programme governance
✔️ Ensuring robust controls, processes and reporting are maintained throughout delivery
✔️ Providing clear project performance insight to senior stakeholders and programme leadership
✔️ Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project outcomes
What we’re looking for:
🔹 Strong background in project controls across major infrastructure, engineering or capital projects
🔹 Proven experience leading project controls teams or functions
🔹 Strong understanding of planning, cost, risk, change and performance management
🔹 Experience working within complex project or programme environments
🔹 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
🔹 Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
