Role Summary
We are seeking a Risk Consultant on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will support the identification, analysis, and management of project risks to improve decision-making and enhance project outcomes. This role suits candidates who are experienced in project risk management and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities

Lead or support quantitative and qualitative risk assessments for projects (including Monte Carlo simulation, sensitivity analysis, and risk registers).

Develop and maintain project risk registers, risk response plans, and opportunity plans.

Facilitate risk workshops and collaborate with project teams to identify and evaluate risks and opportunities.

Integrate risk management activities with schedule (P6/MS Project) and cost control processes.

Produce clear, actionable risk reports and dashboards for stakeholders and senior management.

Advise on risk governance, escalation paths, and change control related to risk exposure.

Provide training and mentoring on risk best practices and tools.

Support proposal development, bid risk analysis, and due diligence as required.
Experience & Skills

Proven experience in project risk management within major projects or PMO environments.

Hands-on experience with Monte Carlo simulation tools and risk modelling techniques.

Strong understanding of schedule and cost interactions and how risks impact project delivery.

Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills; able to run risk workshops and translate technical analysis into clear recommendations.

Strong report-writing and presentation skills.

Collaborative team player, comfortable mentoring others.

Experience across project controls disciplines (planning, cost, reporting) is advantageous.
