Risk & QSRA Manager

The Opportunity
We are supporting the delivery of a major infrastructure programme in Scotland and are seeking an experienced Risk & QSRA Manager to join a high-performing project controls team.
This role is ideal for a seasoned risk professional with strong quantitative schedule risk analysis (QSRA) expertise, looking to take ownership of risk management and quantitative analysis across complex, high-value infrastructure programmes.
You will play a key role in driving data-led decision-making, ensuring risk exposure is understood, quantified, and effectively communicated to support programme delivery and governance.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and management of project risk management frameworks across major infrastructure programmes.

Develop, maintain, and facilitate qualitative and quantitative risk registers.

Deliver and manage QSRA and QCRA (Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis) assessments across key project milestones.

Perform Monte Carlo simulations and other quantitative analysis techniques to assess schedule and cost risk exposure.

Translate QSRA outputs into clear, actionable insights for project leadership and delivery teams.

Integrate risk analysis with project schedules (Primavera P6) and cost data to support informed decision-making.

Facilitate risk workshops with stakeholders across engineering, commercial, planning, and delivery functions.

Produce risk reports, dashboards, and scenario analysis for governance and assurance purposes.

Support change control, contingency planning, and risk-based forecasting.

Ensure compliance with project risk management standards and organisational governance requirements.

Contribute to continuous improvement of risk methodologies and analytical capability across the programme.
About You
We are interested in professionals who can demonstrate:

10–15 years’ experience in project risk management within major infrastructure, energy, utilities, or nuclear environments.

Minimum 5+ years’ hands-on experience delivering QSRA and/or QCRA on complex programmes.

Strong understanding of quantitative risk techniques, including Monte Carlo simulation.

Ability to interpret and communicate complex analytical outputs into clear delivery-focused insights.

Experience working with Primavera P6 and integrated project controls environments.

Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.

Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience within regulated industries such as nuclear, energy, infrastructure, or defence is highly desirable.
